Discover Nema 3R Outdoor Battery Enclosure
The battery enclosure is designed in a trunk configuration to NEMA 3R specifications and can hold up to three Discover AES LiFePO4 batteries, or up to twelve Discover HELIOS batteries.
Compatible with the UL 9540:2020 Ed.2 limit of 20 kWh for residential ESS.
Compatibility
Holds up to 20 kWh of Discover AES LiFePO4 batteries (42-48-6650) or up to 18.48 kWh of Discover HELIOS batteries (46-24-1540, 46-48-1540).
Temperature Management
Powder-coated in white, this 0.125-inch thick aluminum enclosure provides solar deflection to reduce thermal loading and features louvered ports on either side for ventilation in hot climates. Louvered port screens protect against insect ingress. Internal dimensions allow for a 2.0-inch rigid insulation surround in colder climates
